Most Jazz fans feel good about Utah's chances to win game five tonight and close out the Warriors. Me? I'm worried. Look, I want the Jazz to win, I hope the Jazz will win, I'm just not sure they are going to win. Just think back to the earlier games in the series. Game one was a toss-up that could have gone either way. The Jazz went ahead on a Carlos Boozer putback in the final 20 seconds. In game two, Utah just got lucky. Yes, I know its sacreligious to question the Jazz this time of year. But what exactly did Jerry Sloan's guys have to do with the Warriors missing three of four free throws in the final 15 seconds? Just watching that game, I know Golden State can win in Utah, even if they haven't actually done it yet.
Now if the Warriors somehow win tonight, then they go back home for a pivotal game six. I don't see the Jazz winning back-to-back games at the loudest arena in the league(so they claim, them and everybody else). That would force a game seven at the ESA. And while my original pick was Utah in seven, that would be a very scary game for Jazz fans.
So the point is: The Jazz should just win tonight and take all the guess-work out of it.
