Jazz suddenly banged up
Just when I was all ready to make my down payment on playoff tickets, the Jazz get beat up(literally) in Oklahoma City. Several Utah players were injured, including Carlos Boozer. Booze knocked knees with Tyson Chandler and had to leave the game. The Jazz center will be out for Monday's game against New Jersey, and possibly Wednesday against the Spurs.
Jazz fans everywhere are having flashbacks to that horrendous 2004-5 season, when Utah was injury plagued and won just 26 games all year. Don't panic yet. Its not time to trade Boozer and AK for Corey Maggette, Eric Piatkowski and Keith Van Horn. Its not time to sign Bryon Russell out of free agency. Its not time for Larry Miller to charter a flight to Louisiana and beg Karl Malone to come out of retirement(I'm convinced LHM does this every year). On second thought, maybe the Jazz should try that.
