Our look at the fictional national football tournament continues.

The Sugar Bowl - January 1st

Florida vs. Wisconsin

Its all about the SEC and the Big Ten in the final four. The Badgers beat a high quality SEC team(Arkansas) in the real life Cap-One Bowl. But, the Gators proved that they are just a little too quick for Big Ten teams to handle. In a game that would be deceivingly close, Florida wins to get to the title game.

The Orange Bowl - January 2nd

Ohio State vs. LSU

Another battle of Big Ten power versus SEC speed. Now, I'm not going to get caught up in all the hype and pick LSU just because the Buckeyes were awful in the title game. That was the best team in the country for four months, so they wouldn't neccessarily get stomped by a 2-loss LSU team. Troy Smith would not lay another egg, I'm picking the Buckeyes to make dreams come true.

The National Title Game - Glendale, Arizona - January 8th

Ohio State vs. Florida

After all my whining and complaining, we end up with the same matchup the corrupt BCS system produced. Whatever. To quote myself from earlier in the tournament, we already know how this movie ends. Gators 41, Buckeyes 14

Urban Meyer is still everybody's hero. The Gators still win their title. Troy Smith's draft stock still drops from the Top-10 to the Top-600. And the BCS Fat-cats get even more cash. I can't see how they could have a problem with that.
