Weekly Super Bowl Pick: Chargers 42, Bears 10
Although I had an awful week, the lock hit it big, so you would still be in the black if you've been playing it all year long. This is the final week of the regular season, so my picks will be brief again.
NY Giants(7-8) at Washington(5-10)
That complicated NFC playoff picture will get real simple if the Giants can end their losing streak. They will. Giants 27, Washington 20
Pittsburgh(7-8) at Cincinnati(8-7)
I wanted the Steelers to finish their remarkable second half with a playoff trip, but instead they will fade with two straight losses. Bengals 38, Steelers 31
New England(11-4) at Tennessee(8-7)
Why not them? Why not now? Titans 32, Pats 27
St. Louis(7-8) at Minnesota(6-9)
Don't look for the Vikings to pull out any wins with their QB situation. Rams 23, Vikes 11
Oakland(2-13) at NY Jets(9-6)
The Raiders are doing their best to win the Brady Quinn sweepstakes. They will throw another one just to stay ahead(or behind) of the Lions. Jets 21, Raiders 8
Cleveland(4-11) at Houston(5-10)
Ladies and gentlemen, we have a Ron Dayne siting. After years of peaceful nonexistence, Dayne broke out with a huge game last week. And I though they've been propping up his corpse-Weekend at Bernies-style all these years. Texans 40, Browns 28
Miami(6-9) at Indianapolis(11-4)
Does anyone know what they are going to get out of these Colts? Me neither. Colts 18, Phins 15
Arizona(5-10) at San Diego(13-2)
The best team in the league, the Chargers are the easy pick for the Super Bowl right now. They remind me a lot of another title team, the 1998-9 Denver Broncos. Bolts 39, Cards 21
Detroit(2-13) at Dallas(9-6)
Not that Brady Quinn is such a catch, but the Lions also won't be doing anything special to win this game. Cowboys 40, Loins 28
Jacksonville(8-7) at Kansas City(8-7)
It looks like my preseason SB pick will be spending the playoffs on the golf course. But KC will win one more game just in case. Chefs 38, Jags 31
Carolina(7-8) at New Orleans(10-5)
America's team may be resting starters, but I still like them better than the mail-it-in Panthers. Upset Special: Saints 18, Panthers 14
Seattle(8-7) at Tampa Bay(4-11)
The Seahawks could win the West at 8-8, ladies and gentlemen, the 2006 NFC. Buccs 30, Hawks 27
San Francisco(6-9) at Denver(9-6)
Jay Cutler is the man. At least until week one of the playoffs. Then Denver fans will hate him again. Broncs 23, Niners 6
Atlanta(7-8) at Philadelphia(9-6)
Just pack up that coach of the year award, and send it to Philly right now. Andy Reid is the mastermind, Jeff Garcia is the heroic comeback star. And this game is my take-it-to-Wendover-lock-of-the-week: Eagles(-8-5) 30, Falcons 7
Buffalo(7-8) at Baltimore(12-3)
Watch out for the Ravens in the playoffs. I wouldn't want to meet them in the AFC finals. Ravens 29, Bills 15
Green Bay(7-8) at Chicago(13-2)
This hurts. But Brett Favre's farewell(possibly) won't go as scripted. Even resting starters, the Bears are better than the Pack. Bears 13, Pack 0
