What to make of Al Sharpton?
The Reverend visited Utah today, meeting with lower level LDS Church leaders and touring Temple Square.
But what he didn't do was answer questions from the Utah media. Not hard ones,

re: VANOCUR'S BACKROOM BLOG /SHARPTON VISIT

Why was Utah even giving any attention to an ignorant person who spouts off at the mouth? Too much attention was given the this Presidential candidate, in my opinion, all in the name of giving him even more publicity for his candidacy. Shame on us.

re: VANOCUR'S BACKROOM BLOG /SHARPTON VISIT

I believe the reason why Sharpton visited Utah and Temple Square is to try to rectify some of the remarks made on television, basically to clear his own image. He is doing it for the sake of his own name rather than to really understand the LDS faith and principles. This is proven by the lack of interest shown on his remarks to reporters. If he really wanted to focus on the belief of the LDS faith he would be touched to find out that LDS culture revolves around Christ, rather than what he is preaching against other religions. If he truly is a Christian he wouldn't make remarks against others no matter what he thinks of their beliefs.
