New Car

My wife and I recently purchased a new car, its the Toyota Yaris.  You've probably seen them on the road, they are microscopic, but they get about 700 miles to the gallon, a world of difference from the SUV we've been plodding along in for the last year.

By looking at these things you would assume getting into one would be like stepping into a shoe box or a hope chest, but I was pleasantly surprised, I'm 6'3" and I fit nicely inside with no odd bending or painful morphing.

Its small, round, and highly manueverable,  it reminds me of the clear plastic ball we used to put our hamster in when I was a kid so he could roam the house unimpeded.  One day we found the ball, but oddly enough no Oscar.  We never saw him again.  My mom and dad used to paint a picture of Oscar, frolicking on the beach somewhere in Florida with other lady hamsters drinking tiny little hamster-coladas with itsy-bitsy umbrellas in a tiny little coconut shell.  I was 4 years old so the image was a pleasant one for me.  I just assumed he'd found a "neater, cooler" plastic ball to bounce around in.  One with palm tree stickers all over it, rolling down the beach looking for his hamster surfing buddies.  It wasn't until years later that I realized my parents had likely lied about Oscar, but the "Beach Oscar" was so much more fun than thinking about what probably really happened to him.

which I will describe to you in detail now:  I'm kidding of course.

The bottom line is:  I like this new little car, and I miss Oscar, and our dog Dudley, my mom said he was taken to a farm to play with other dogs.  I also miss Pow Pow, our Pekinese, he went to that same farm oddly enough.  And I miss, Kitty, he apparantly went to that same farm, but was segregated to the cat portion of the property.  And I also miss Rothgar, the good news is he is at that cat farm, hopefully keeping Kitty company.

I don't know where this farm is but It must have thousands of acres for all of my former pets to roam free, happy and of course uninjured, no matter what the truth really is.
