Paris Hilton has been released from jail. Shocker! Word is she served five days (it's really three and a half days because she went in Sunday night and was released Thursday morning) of a 45 day sentence that would be reduced to 23 days served for good behavior.  Hilton was released early according to the L.A. County Sheriff because of a "medical condition."

But it has been reported Hilton was sobbing in jail and not eating or sleeping.  She had a two hour visit by her attorney and a psychiatrist on Wednesday prior to being released Thursday morning. Now she will serve her full 45 day sentence at home with an ankle bracelet.
